1.12 Poor Information Architecture

Outpost.com has an entire section dedicated to video games. However, the earlier (top) navigational system was so poorly designed that users could not access this section from the homepage--they were forced to find it through the site map.

The later navigational system (bottom) includes a direct link to video games, providing the user with a much easier way to access its content.
