2.1 Aesthetic Experience

The Kenneth Cole web site is concerned with creating a dynamic, aesthetic experience. The web site opens with a Flash movie, and there are many animations and rollovers contained in the underlying pages. The site obviously emphasizes design--it seeks to provoke a reaction from the viewer.

 

 
 




2.2 Organization of Information

Although L.L. Bean is a also a clothing site, it is quite different from Kenneth Cole's pictured above. L.L. Bean's site is more concerned with the display and organization of information. Besides including a more thorough navigational system, there is also more content on the homepage.
