6.2 Hierarchy

A navigational system should clarify the structure of the site. The system should also identify links based on their importance. The four main categories of information are assumed to be more important, because they are larger and they are image links instead of text links.

 
 

 

 
 



 
 


6.3 Headers

Users always need a way to backtrack through the site. Above are two descriptive headers (the top is a text- oriented approach while the bottom is a graphic- oriented approach). Users can tell exactly where they are in the site and can jump back to previous subsections.
